I have been playing volleyball since I was in middle school. I have played some in high school, recreational, women’s league, coed sand volleyball, and coed competitive teams indoor volleyball. I love the game of volleyball and I enjoy coaching! I coached all three of my daughters throughout middle school, and have been an assistant coach with Panthers for the two past years. I love to coach volleyball and see how the girls improve their skills and become more confident players. I am looking forward to working with the 12s team this season!
Steve has been coaching competitive club volleyball for eight years. He has worked with all ages from 13-17 and enjoys helping players grow as athletes and young adults. He grew up in Virginia Beach, playing both court and sand volleyball before moving to Colorado
This is my third year coaching with the Panther Volleyball Club, and my second as a head coach. I have been playing volleyball for over 20 years and coaching for 5+ years. After making Tennessee's Class AAA All-State volleyball team in 2008, I started playing adult leagues in college and internationally in Europe from 2014-2018. I still play in various indoor and outdoor leagues in Denver throughout the year! Outside of Panthers, I am a second grade teacher and also lead international trips for middle and high-schoolers during the summer. As a teacher and a coach, I believe that the skills players learn on the court carry them far beyond the sport of volleyball!
I am looking forward to working with the 14s team this season!
"Coached club volleyball since 2009, working with at least one team at every age from 12u to 18u. Overall, I have coached 13 club teams for COVOCO and No Limits. The majority of my club experience is with high school teams, as I have coached seniors for the last five years and a second team ranging from 8th grade through juniors in high school.
I strongly believe that coaching girls’ volleyball is about more than the sport of volleyball. As coaches, we must work to develop self-confidence, mental strength, and a supportive team atmosphere, and volleyball is the tool we use to help cultivate confident young women. We utilize the physical aspects of volleyball to develop mental skills that help well beyond their time on the court.
I firmly believe the growth on the court, individually and as a team, exceeds the results on the scoreboard. That philosophy has allowed athletes to play for me over multiple years, including players who left to find less satisfying experiences elsewhere who returned later. It’s also why I’ve coached so many teams with seniors, because they encouraged me to return with them through their final season."
This is my second year as a head coach for club volleyball.
I have been playing since the age of 14. I started on my high school freshman team and have never looked back. I currently play the various disciplines in the form of doubles, quads, or sixes in grass, indoor, and sand.
Coaching has been a new endeavor that has sparked my passion for the development of young players as both athletes and as individuals. My approach has been to develop not only their athletic abilities, but also their self-confidence, their interpersonal skills, and their passion. I hope at the end of each season, each athlete feels like a strong young woman, ready to face challenges on and off the court.
Off the court, I work for the State of Colorado as a contracts specialist, and spend my free time in book club, rock climbing, water skiing, and of course, playing volleyball
"I have been around volleyball my entire life and have really come to love and respect the game. I was a state runner-up my junior year in high school, on the all state team my senior team and was given an "all-state" award for most aces served for the season. Once I graduated I continued to play recreationally and then once my daughter was of-age I coached her for 5 years and then continued to coach for 3 more years. I coached girls that ranged in ages from 8 to 14 for both recreation volleyball and club volleyball. Last year I was given the opportunity to get back into volleyball through being a high school referee, which I will continue to do this year as well. I was made aware of the opportunity to come and coach for Panther Volleyball Club through my daughter who is an assistant coach for the club as well. I am so excited to be able to teach these girls and help them to grow to love the sport as much as I do."
I am so excited to step back into coaching. This will be my 3rd year as a coach, and 2nd as a head coach. I have my BS in Psychology from MSU Denver, and currently work with kiddos as my day job.
I played volleyball for 15 years competitively, played for many coaches within Panther VC, and still play within adult leagues all through the Denver Metro area.
I hope to make the girls I coach better players and even better humans.
Hi, I'm Maggie. I've been a volleyball player at every level from rec to college. I've been in the sport for over fourteen years and have seen every aspect of this game. I value energy, positivity, and determination. I aspire to create a supported team with unique chemistry and culture. Above everything, my goal is to further the love of the game for everyone involved.
"I have been playing volleyball for almost my entire life. I played middle all through club and some college for the Johnson and Wales club team. In high school I created the boys volleyball program which went on to win many state championships and was a huge step to getting boys volleyball sanctioned by CHSAA in the state of Colorado. I still play almost every day in multiple leagues and tournaments both indoor and beach. Coaching has elevated my passion for the sport and seeing my players succeed and enhance their skills is the greatest joy for me. I am a Gold Medal Squared trained coach. Before coaching with Panthers I was coaching the Colorado School of Mines women's team. This will be my third year with Panthers and believe in the vision of that Stephen has for Panthers Volleyball Club. We do things differently and focusing on each player's individual success both on and off the court is a key cornerstone in my (and panthers) philosophy."
"I am a senior at Elizabeth High School. I was an assistant coach for my sister for a small league team, and I loved it. I have played indoor for 7 years, club for 6 years, and sand for 2 years. I went to Regionals with my school team this year and I couldn't be happier with the way I ended my high school volleyball career. My life revolves around volleyball and I've grown to love the sport more and more each year. I believe that being involved in any sport allows kids to express themselves in different aspects and learn how to expand their social lives. I'm so excited to help these girls grow and see how much they improve!"
My motto has always been TEAM before self! Of course I like to win, but when that is not always possible I always ask my athletes to COMPETE! I will always put the 6 on the court that gives our team the best opportunity to compete. Playing time is earned through work ethic, attitude, and coachability.
I played varsity 4 years at Platte Valley High School, State Champions in 03 and State appearances in 04, 05, 06. I played my freshman year of college at Webster University in St. Louis.
